Gay Seized Brakes!

Recommended Posts

Basically my front left brake keeps seizeing, I replaced the caliper with a refurbed one and it still does it.

Sometimes when driving along the peddle goes really hard and then the front left brake is on slightly. I've now replaced with Gti calipers an it still does it sometimes. The calipers arn't actually seized tho becuase I can remove them and press them in with my fingers. :D

Ive replaced the hoses so it's not them.

Could it be a faulty master cylinder or servo? :P

Out of the parts you've suggested it'll be the master cylinder imo.

My old diesel did this once & that was due to the hoses breaking down internally & restricting the flow but if you've already replaced them they are out of the question.

Graham.
