tagy 1 Posted May 25, 2006 my car starts perfect first time when cold, and runs fine for 15-30 mins. Then it cuts out and will not restart, I have checked and there is no spark coming from the coil. You then have to leave it for an hour or two to cool down and it will start first time again.. I have replaced the coil with a new one but that made no difference, I am think it could be the ignition amplifier? although it does not seem to get very hot where it is.
