The message reads CALL The radio signal is interuppted and the thing starts ringing like a phone ? Anyone experienced this ? Do i need to call the white van ? chownr 0 Posted May 25, 2006 Was it a hot and humid day? Were you dehydrated? Definitely think you should call the White Van!! Failing that have you tried Scoobynet? Maybe a WRX thing? Rich
Craigb 2 Posted May 25, 2006 No , it could have been the thought of the pub though . Have put it up on scooby net , but no replies yet . I knew Stella would get me in the end At least Jayne was with me , or no one would have believed me !!!
hd_andy 2 Posted May 25, 2006 Must have something to do with the telephone mute wire on the headunit. My handsfree kit is wired into the headunit so that it displays call when a signal is applied to the wire, doesnt explain the ringing though.
gti-hysteria 0 Posted May 25, 2006 i had a oldskool kenwood tape player and i had the same message, no ringing noise tho, but once it said call i had no sound at all, i has to turn unit off and back on again, never solved the problem completely tho.
dead205 0 Posted May 25, 2006 My "ahem" Rover used to do this when it felt like it - was down to a nokia handsfree kit which hadn't been fully removed and just stuffed under the dash. cheers Mark
