S16 Rev Limit ?

Anyone know the ecu controlled rev limit on a standard S16 (306) - I believe its a motronic 3.2.

IIRC I think it's 7200rpm.......I may be wrong though!

yep its about 7250rpm

not normaly any point revving it that high as power has normaly tailed off but when mine has being on the rollers the power and torque was still increasing at the lines, thats with just a skip brown decat and 57i kit with custom cold air feed

The engine will be used in an autograss racer and the idea is to just max out the revs in 2nd gear before the turns (oval track) - hence the importance of rev limit.
