How To Get A Wider Rear Track

how do u make the wheels sit nicley with a dimma kit, is a 309 gti rear axel with spacers enough or is the only way buy fitting the proper dimma split rims. also can you use a normal 205 gti rear axle

Just a guess, how about converting a 405 rear beam to fit. Must be wider than the 309 beam.

same goes for the 306 beam - wider track than the 309 one.

Really? i was told it was the other way around by some peep on here..

 

If you want spacers for a dimma kit, i have a set i inherited.. in fact i should've sold them to the guy i sold the 'dimma' kit to!

ok thanx jack, i havnt even got a dimma kit yet i was just thinking about kitting my cti, and be a little different. As im hoping to get a new car so the cti will be off the road and i will have time 2 play with it.
