Kitsune 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Just looking at my original pedal box today and notice the clutch cable and pedal have a pin type lock at the pedal end. This was originally fitted to a BE1 box. I've got another pedal box and cable but this time the cable merely hooks over the pedal, and this was from a BE3 box (slightly different cable at box end too). I plan to use a BE3 box, so which cable/pedal box should I use? How many types are there? Pics to follow.
Kitsune 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Pic one: BE1 clutch cable. As you can see, the cable is locked in via a pin running through the pedal. The cable then has a bit like on a brake cable stopping it from slipping out of the bracket attached to the pedal. Pic two: BE3 cable? Uses a plastic bracket which merely hooks over the end of the pedal.

Kitsune 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Nice one. Cheers hux. Will just change the servo and MC over as I'm running a 22mm MC. One was longer than the other, but cant remember which. Is there any difference in the clutch mechanism? Never had a look at a BE3.
huxley309 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Well...the arm looked similar but i doubt its the same, the realease bearing however is different but you can use the same plate and cover so they're both very similar
