ifcho 0 Posted May 11, 2006 I'm converting my 205 1.1 CJ to a 1.6 engine, and now need some help in setting up the new instruments panel. Unfortunately even the multiplugs are different on the two panels so I have to replace them as well. I can do the wiring (in case I found the appropriate schemes) but even if i find a scheme showing which wire is what, could anybody help me straightening out which connector on the dash does what. Sory for the enlish, it is 7o'clock in the morning when writing this (haven't sleeped all night, being at work)... If i'm not very clear, please forgive me, I'll reread my post later when I wake up. Thanks in advance for any help. (offtopic: yesterday i drove my pug for the first time for three weeks, i couldn't be happier. Just a few things to finish and it is ready for the road..) M@tt 77 Posted May 11, 2006 (edited) Hi Each of the plugs that go intop the back of the 1.6 instrument cluster will only connect up to one socket so you cant get them wrong but i assume you want to know which wire goes to which pin in each of these connectors? ifcho 0 Posted May 11, 2006 unfortunately my plugs are different... currently I have a display with a clock and speedometer...i bought a display from 205GTI but I cannot wire it as the plugs are different.
