If you put in the diff and FD from the 1.9 box it will mess up the MI pinion. You would need to change the pinion over from the 1.9 box as well. This would then give you a box with 1st and 2nd exactly the same as a 1.9 box with very long 3rd, 4th and 5th IIRC. So nothing like a MI box. If you do have the MI FD then you could bolt this to the diff out of the 1.9 box and use the outer casing no problem. Steve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
