Quick Question - Xu10j2c With A 1.9 Gti Head

just a quick qestion have been looking around but cant find any thing on the forums

 

have got an XU10J2C engine from a 405 but the head gasket went and the old codger who had it kept running it so killed the head. The block is straight but 2 of the valve seats had actually moved in the head. Very wary of reusing it so was considering the 1.9 GTI head i have spare. The valves seems the same size and and the oil ways seem to line up fine.

 

Has any one ever done this before?

 

Does any one know of any problems i may encounter?

The chamber diameters will be a couple mm smaller so you may have sealing issues, the same as xu10 on a xu9 block but tother way round. Other than that AFAIK it should be ok.
