Guest smokinslim Posted May 9, 2006 General concensus is to go for original pug bushes from your local dealer, bout £15 per wishbone set i think. If you have access to a press thats probably the quickest way to get the old ones out. i smashed a big old concrete slab trying to hammer mine out with sockets n big hammer, drilled through them in the end n they pushed out in seconds afterwards
Simes 248 2 Cars Posted May 10, 2006 (edited) I burnt mine out last weekend with a blow torch and then tapped and cut the remainder of the shell out. After you've managed one you'll devise a routine and it should only take about 10mins per bush. I would have prefered to have got mine 'pressed' in but I got carried away with grease and a wooden mallet. Get pug bushes, as mentioned £15 per side, alhough if you search on this forum there is a thread with a part nos. for £15 per side including the bolts. GLPoomobile 958 Posted May 10, 2006 my topic You will see that you can get a kit with bushes and bolts for both sides for £15 ex VAT.
