Tracking's Way Out!

Recommended Posts

After fitting the 309 subframe the tracking on my 205 has shot way out. Just wondering if its still ok/safe to drive the car to get it fixed? It's about 3 miles.

Cheers

Depends how much the tracking it out eh?

For going somewhere to get it done properly, you can actually get the tracking pretty much parallel with (or parallel enough) with a tape measure on the brake discs.

They're gathering dust in my garage :D ill give you a text as my msn is broken at the mo!

So if i mess about with the track rods i should be able to get it reasonably straight (enough so to drive) and get the pros to sort the rest? Will i need to tell them that ive used 309 gear or does it not really matter to them?

I wouldn't if you go to your local dealership, it'll confuse them

Ahl is right, you should get the tracking near enough to drive with a measure of some sort, No need to tell anyone what parts are used just set the tracking to parellel
