yorkshirekowboy 19 1 Cars Posted May 6, 2006 hi, my car ha been rebuilt, and i have noiced theres no bumpstops and all thats there is the bolt on each side!!! I have been told that if they are missing it doesnt matter??????? justing wanting to no if any forum user's have had thier cars fail an mot cos rear bumpstops are'nt there? thanks dan Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
laser green 1.9 0 1 Cars Posted May 6, 2006 Mine passed it's MOT with no bump stops. You should have them on those because it prevent the rear wheel from rubbing on the petrol filler pipe. They don't cost much from a pug dealer, about £12 a pair or you can order them from auto five or have a look on ebay. I think there was some powerflex one on there yesterday.
