Rally Slag 0 Posted May 4, 2006 ok my water temp gauge dont work, i got a power probe and stuck in in the end of the wire that goes into the plug and earthed it out and the gauged worked, went right up to boiling, so thought ok the sensor was fuked, so got a new sensor (the one on the right hand side of the head just behind the distributor and the gauge still dont work? whats up with that? could it be the actual connection on to the sensor thats fuked, ie: i earthed out the actual wire it self not the connector onto the sensor or is this a common problem and its something else? Rally Slag 0 Posted May 6, 2006 ok the wire is not faulty and i fitted a new sender unit so why dont it work still? if i put a 12 volt earth down the wire the gauge goes all the way to the other side of the scale but thats the only way i can make it move, someone help please Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
