Owain1602 0 Posted May 3, 2006 hi, im currently tidying up my 205 gti wiring loom and i had the steering column down, since this none of my exterior lights work and the dash instrument pannel does weird things when i turn something on, the other stalk for the wipers works fine. There is thicker red wire supplying the switch which is wire number 5, it has 12v but when i turn something like the side-lights on it looses this 12v and it drops to almost 0. Any ideas as i could do without this hassle, its gonna be my track car. thanks a lot Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jonah 1 Posted May 4, 2006 Sounds like you've lost an earth somewhere, ISTR there's an earthing block on the steering column near to the column stalk switches. Check that everything is plugged in and that you haven't got any of the connectors mixed up. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
