Sanchez 0 Posted May 3, 2006 Some **** keyed my car at the weekend, by the rear passenger quarter (why do people do it?!!?). The scratch is about 10 inches long and goes right down to the primer. What's going to be the cheapest way to get it repaired? I assume that just getting it filled by a professional would be best. Can anyone recommend a company for me. Thanks for any assistance. DaveK 0 Posted May 3, 2006 what about just using a touchup pen mate? when i scraped the side of my 306 from door handle to rear light and dented it the touchup kit from halfords (the one with primer/colour/laquer) did a surprisingly good coverup
jonD6B 0 Posted May 3, 2006 If the rest of the car is in good condition the only way of doing it properly IMO is to have the panel blown in.

Paintguy 0 Posted May 4, 2006 With it being grey, you could probably get away with the type of repair Dino mentions. For a company local to you, try Cosmetic Paint Systems, a mobile service with their office based at Barlborough. Phone number when I worked there was 01246 810300. [pimp]Other than that, try and find a bodyshop nearby that'll give you a good quote, preferably with a painter that appreciates 205's..... [/pimp]
