The general consescus is to use an MI16 flywheel and clutch, although i made up a 5mm gearbox to engine spacer plate to use the turbo flywheel, thats been binned now though.

yes i have done this quite recently, the more recent being Ant on this forum too

No,its probally to small, and wont be able to handle the torque.Yes im using the engine in its standard form(for now) hehe i've tryed many IC's !! lot of people drop the radiator and fit a sierra cosworth intercooler above,im going for an MR2 IC in the front valance

That could of been a blessing in disguise, standard ECU wont take much boost hike before it throws a wobbly

and goes into safe mode

Going to be tight isnt it with that IC in that position, some ducting would be cool ( pun intended )

If you need some cold air feeds for your valance, let me know,i may know were you can get some cheap ;)

Ant

My conversion should be up and running ( rather than just starting ) sometime.

Ive used a Cossy 2wd IC.. Do a search. They are very wide though. The only place i could find to mount it, using a standard rad, was above the rad.

Ive used Mi16 Flywheel and clutch. They do pop up from time to time in the for sale section. Do a search. I think Jacobs put a post a while back about modifiying the box to take the 2.0 flywheel.

Most stuff has been covered here. Its just trial and error. Ie my exhaust took me 3 attempts to line up perfectly of putting it on, checking the angle, taking a bit more off, checking again etc.

Its all doable if you have a few tools :( - just time consuming
