Help Regarding Limited Edition Grey Carpet

ok ive just recived my grey carpet i won off ebay but the carpet seems to be a different shade of grey to the carpet on the centre console ive got.

they are both gti carpets as they are "fluffy" not "flat" like the low model one ive got.

also i got some limited edition door cards with the grey carpet along the bottom which seem to be even lighter than the centre console and the main carpet.

is this normal? im kind of worryed that when i finish putting it all in the car the different shades of grey will look poo.

has anyone got some pics so i can compare the difference.

This might be down to all the different parts being from different cars??

 

Thus some may be more "sun bleached" than others...

i have a root around for pictures of my interior bare with me. (im miles from the car so cant take any fresh ones.)

Damien, Something isn't right there. If you look at a mine, they match perfectly. I think you have some of the lighter base model parts there( maybe the centre console).

I've got a base model grey carpet and console, and never noticed till it was mentioned here that it's not GTi 'fluffy'. My console is not fluffy either though.

thats what i was worryed about but both the center and carpet are "fluffy" so they must of come from a gti. could the sun of bleached the center carpet?

its not that easy to find a grey carpeted center so replacing it could be a sob.

 

did the grey center come with any other of the gti's or was it just the 1990 limited editions?

Very late CTI's have them, but they they are only on L plate ones usually. The XS had a grey carpet, but not sure if it was "fluffy"

the xs was "flat" not "fluff" as ive got the carpet and center out of one at the moment
