Best Oil For 1.9 Phase Two 205 Gti Engine

whats the best thickness and best make for oils for engine?

 

i have found cheaper oild has water in it as it leaves mayo in cap on slight, then used some other stuff cant rember make... but it was good stuff.

 

i have used 5w/30 duckhams which i didnt think much off and i have used also carlube triple r 10/40w and thats was so bad.

 

any ideas which oil people rate for a smooth/quiet running engine?

 

i hear to use 15/40w is that rite?

i no mate, just wanting the new situations with the oil, that people may have recommended and they found was junk etc. just in case before i buy.

 

Just really want an outsight on what people thinks best now!!!

...and as I said, if you use the search you will find lots of threads waffling on about oils and what people use etc. go on, knock yourself out

As Jonmurgie says.

 

It doesn't matter that much anyway, the main thing is that the oil is changed regularly.
