Flat Battery Issue Or Worse?

Recommended Posts

As per other thread earlier the carbs are now on the 205 but Ive got an issue getting it to start. Earlier I was cranking it loads trying to get it to start but turned out a wiring fault was to blame. Anyway when I repaired the wirting it started straight off but I had to shut it off after about 20 seconds due to a coolant leak. After I sorted the coolant leak Iv tried starting it again but no joy, its sparking well and its getting fuel to the carbs, its just not firing. I have noticed though its cranking quite slowly so I think I may of killed the battery trying. Could it just be the slow cranking causing the issues or any other theories on what to try? Im starting to think when it started earlier it was just a fluke and it actually burnt up some fuel left in the chambers from when it was injection but it hasnt been ran for 2 days and it had been cranked loads before it started.

Try charging the battery & see if it starts, could be an easy fix.
