Mi16 Idle (again)..:)

OK I have searched and read and read some more and cant find the answer to my problem.....from cold the car startsw first time and sits at about 1.5k but then as it gets warmer the idle rises to around 2 k....if i turn the engine off and then restart it after a few mins it will not idle at all....this is what ive noticed and tried so far,..

When the car was sitting at 2k i left it running and disconnected the ICV the revs didnt drop but when i reconnected it the revs dropped straight off and wouldnt tickover...I then went to try and adjust the idle in the AFM and the screw doesnt seem to move, it just spins never tightening or loosening!!!....

Anyone any ideas, perhaps I should replace the AFM and ICV, I have cleaned the ICV and all pipe work the other day so that is clean as far as i know....

Thanks

Which way up is the AFM mounted?, I had loads of idle issues with mine and cured it by turning the AFM upside down.
