The pic below is on the engine bay wiring loom. It is not the main relay.. i think it sat below the inner NS arch

Ideas if i still need to keep it

The pipe in the picture went to a round thingy under the OS wing... Ideas if its needed ?

The small hose / pipe on the right hand side of the picture.. Its not connected to anything, and i cant see anything to connect it to.. ( one with an arrow to it ). The other 2 from the T piece are connected.. ideas

There is a small unconnected pipe on the inlet.. .I THINK it went to the pipe on picture 2, but im not sure, and if it does, where does it go from there..

1st pic looks like a fan controller?

Don't remember seeing it doing my engine conversion.

2nd pic - pipe that goes to carbon canister for exhaust gas recirculation. Not necessarily needed.

3rd pic- that pipe went to the main air inlet pipe that went to the air filter

4th pic - connected to the pipe in pic 2

You need to connct up the fuel vapour cannister solinoid to the ECU or you will get a fault code. Mine ticks to buggery though as it is in the scuttle panel now!

The T piece thing in pic 2 is the boost control solinoid. This stops your turbo overboosting as it is connected to the acctuator and the inlet

Hi Henry,

Can you elaberate on this a bit...

"You need to connct up the fuel vapour cannister solinoid to the ECU or you will get a fault code. Mine ticks to buggery though as it is in the scuttle panel now!"

Can you explain it a bit more as im not sure what you mean..

Also, another "unkown" hose.. that connects to it.. It sits above the thermostat

I think that hose either connects to the top of the 605 radiator or the expansion tank.

One of them anyway

my xantia engine has this blocked off with just a screw bolted in (just like the one to the right of it), i assume you can do the same. on my old 8v xsi 306 engine it went to the expansion tank, i however used that pipe as a return for the turbo water cooling.

I should go to the top of the expansion tank.

See pic (follow the hose)
