engine killer 6 Posted April 25, 2006 i have badly experienced overbaked brake during my last track day, so i am working on making some ducting direct the cold air to the bell housing. but the problem is the ducting hose will foul the wheel when in / almost full lock. on the right hand side there is a small gap between pulleys/belt and the inner wall, on the left hand side there is a very small room underneath the outer casing of the gearbox. are they the ideal/only places for brake ducting? there should not be any problem finding inlet places from the valance (eg. driving lamp position). has anyone got any experience/pictures that can share with me please? thanks. jonD6B 0 Posted April 25, 2006 I simply removed the driving lamps and felt that this would be adequate. There isn't IMO enough room to reliably use round ducting to the discs, although a perspex deflecter could be used to influence air flow in the right direction if needed.
