Guest BrainFluid Posted April 24, 2006 Oil is leaking out of each side of the cam, where the timing belt sprocket and the brake vacume/power steering pully wheel are. Looking back at thw manual it says to put the seals in with the ocker cover on. I realise now that I did not do this i put the rocker cover on afterwards. Nate. the rocker is not connected to the cam seal carrier so this would not make a difference , its probably damage to the carrier (where the seal sits) that is causing the leak , but are you sure its the seals that are leaking? not the rocker gasket itself.
