Recommended Posts

Guest cips007

Hi,i've noticed that the the *cover* that is sealed to the top of my afm is loose,so have removed, cleaned off old sealant and refitted.Would there be any adverse effects if air etc has been getting in the unit please as maybe looking to replace just in case?

Cheers

Chris

"air" won't have an effect on it really. Mine used to be loose. Glued it back on with some silicone sealant. However whilst the cover is off it might be worth retracking it. Have a search for retracking, i'm yet to do this to mine but i'm lazy.
