Guest Darragh Posted April 24, 2006 hello everyone! i just recently put a 92 1600 in my 86 gti and have noticed that after about 4k revs the power increases and decreases repeatedly as it climbes the rev range. im not sure if its the timing that could be out? i have checked it with a timing light on the flywheel timing marks and it seems to be alright. the fuelling is alright aswell, evan though i have used the old injectors wich seemed to be fine. and the AFM is from the 92 engine and is running fine too. i dont understand whats happening as i drove the car that the engine came out of and this problem did not occur when i drove it. any ideas as to what i should do???
