miamistu 1 Posted April 24, 2006 Looking to get some replacement driving lights as mine are rusty (big surprise ) and have seen that Neat Autos list "Spot Lamp (Original)" for about £25. Does anyone know if these are driving lights and if so are they the Siem ones as they are quite a bit cheaper than Auto Five. Ta
hengti 2 Posted April 24, 2006 is this for a pair? they're generally about £40-£50 a pair - so that seems v cheap driving lights are sometimes described as spot lamps
pacey205 2 Posted April 24, 2006 Have a look on the main site for a link for new ones (£44 the pair I think) Michael
Ryan 99 Posted April 24, 2006 It say that the Neat price is each as it says "lamp" not "lamps"
Super Josh 4 Posted April 24, 2006 The NEAT ones are original Siem ones. That price is for one lamp. DON'T buy the Denji ones, they are s*ite quality and don't last. Worth spending a few quid extra, otherwise you'll end up buying the Siem ones eventually anyway. Josh
karlos72 0 Posted April 24, 2006 http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZbodders205QQhtZ-1 The ones at the top that also fit 306d Turbo are the ones i got the other day. They fit perfectly, ie; you can just take the fronts off if you dont need to re-wire. Also got mine for £28. Just keep bidding.
miamistu 1 Posted April 24, 2006 Yeah, I understand that it's just for 1 lamp (ie £50 / pair). I'd prefer the Siem ones so I think I'll bite the bullet and get them as they're only a few quid more than the ones on the main site. Cheers everyone
steige 1 1 Cars Posted April 24, 2006 Is it possible to buy the metal surrounds that fit over the lights separately. I have a decent set of lights with rotten surrounds!
hengti 2 Posted April 24, 2006 i'm fairly sure autofive can supply these seperately

I got the metal surrounds from peugeot they were about a tenner. But I just try and repair my car the cheapest way possible. Sam
miamistu 1 Posted April 26, 2006 i'm fairly sure autofive can supply these seperately £22.69 for 2 rims + p&p from autofive Are they made from gold?
steve@cornwall 100 Posted April 26, 2006 just file a washer so it fits into the srew recess, holds the lamp in fine! careful application of plumbers alluminium tape restores flaky reflectors quite well too---Cornish solution!!!-"I don't mind spending what I NEED to-but I'll be b*ggered if i'll WASTE a penny"

Do I need to point out that the 306 lights are fog lights, not driving lights so they are either 205 lights or 306 lights but not right for both. Can't quite tell from the photo but I think they are driving lights.
