Danxs 0 Posted April 22, 2006 i was just looking at these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Peugeot-205-309-Gti-...1QQcmdZViewItem first question ism are they worth it, i know on 106's its a good move, does it work well on 309's? also, it said minimum wheels size 16", whys that, 306 gti's run on 15''s? Guest smokinslim Posted April 22, 2006 Possibly a difference in the size of the caliper itself, gti6 calipers fit in most 15" wheels but its tight. Perhaps 205 calipers stick out a bit more. Why not ask the seller.
Jonmurgie 2 Posted April 22, 2006 You might as well get the proper GTi6 calipers and do the job properly... with that kit on eBay you will need to buy some GTi6 discs and it uses your standard caliper, you can usually pick up a GTi6 setup for around £150 so not that much more really... GTi6 do fit under 15's obvioulsy, maybe that kit pushes the standard caliper a little too close to the wheel?!
