matt205xs 0 Posted April 18, 2006 basically im in the middle of doing my mi conversion and am trying to get rid of as much pipe work as possible, im thinking already of getting a alloy sump which will get rid of 2 pipes from sandwich plate, also puting a breather filter on rocker cover which will again get rid of another, what else can i do to reduce the ammount of pipes in the bay and still let it run well thanks
Banjo 1 Posted April 18, 2006 Get rid of the coolant pipe that goes above the exhaust mani, remove the throttle body coolant pipes and take straight to thermo housing, i've also got rid of the metal pipe that runs along the inner wing by replacing it with a single hose from an xs, I had to make up some ally brackets and its a bit fiddly but atleast it wont rust out!
