Guest smokinslim Posted April 16, 2006 I've got the same or very similar problem with my own car. Started a while back when i started changing front suspension components. Just minor to begin with but has gotten much worse now, but the whole time only when reversing. Definately coming from the front of the car, somewhere around the wheels. I've come to the conclusion that it is either the top mount rubbers (known to be softer than Boy George now), bearings, or a combination of the two things. These are the only parts in my setup now that aren't within 6 months old and known to be in good order. Whilst i'm on the subject where's the best place to get uprated top mount rubbers from? I know Pug Sport and AB Motorsport do group N ones, Is there anywhere forum members get a discount that has them?
matty_gti 20 Posted April 16, 2006 o rite, cheers for that, so its nothing that major. Ill just see how it goes. Thanks. P.S, i know group A and N rubbers are on ebay.
