Toddman 0 Posted April 15, 2006 (edited) Hoping one of you guys can help me out My brothers vts is due it's cambelt change and after we looked at the setup it has a semi automatic tensioner with an idler. Question is where on earth do we set the tensioner to when the new belt is on etc. Don't really want to have to twist the main dealers arm for a photocopy of the citroen/pug manual. jochem 0 Posted April 16, 2006 I have some dutch peugeot books for the gti6 lump: Is sais to pull back the auto tensioner and keep it in place by insurting an imbus (allen?) into the slot just above the bolt on the bottom of the tensioner. On assembly of the new belt: take out the imbus and secure the bolt to 2 daN.m Hope this helps.
