Smoked Phase 2 Rear Lights

OK quick question, I know you can buy smoked phase 1 rear lights, but i havent seen anywere that does phase 2 smoked ones. There must be a place that does them concidering most people concider the phase 2 rear lens the more likable style. Can anyone help me out? mayby somehwere in france does them?

Just smoke the ones you have with light tinting spray if you must... but to be honest the Phase 2 lights look perfect just as they left the factory

nah i dont really like painting lens, the paint dont really seem to stick properly and never looks as good as the actualy smoked ones

Well my point it... you will HAVE to paint them as there aren't any Phase 2 smoked lights, seems the manufacturers only wanted to do Phase 1's?!

If you can't find a set, and do end up painting them, there's no reason why you can't do a great looking, lasting job. Just prep them up properly with a bit of fine sanding and a thorough clean, and they should be fine.

 

I've never used those tinting sprays, as I don't really need to. I give the lenses a good going over with a grey Scotchpad and degreaser, then apply a coat of 2K lacquer with a tiny hint of black (or whatever colour). Another coat of just lacquer, and they're spot on!

i personally don't think coloured lenses look nice when smoked.

 

anyway, someone used to have phase1 clear lenses over the phase2 reflectors and

it worked out pretty good, so you could maybe try the same thing with smoked ones?

in what way? what if i used coloured bulbs? anyone got some pics?
