hey all, got a bit of a odd one here....

moving off slowly in 1st gear, the rear right hand side of the car dips down quite a fair bit...

kinda hard to describe in words...anyone got any ideas as to what it could be??

cheers

Rear brake adjusters maybe seized. Jack the car up and see how easy it is to turn the wheel with handbrake on and off.

Handbrake sticking?

i'd go with that as well - does it feel as though the rear end is 'pulling' at all whilst you're driving?

take it up and down a short stretch of m'way; pull off and check for heat from the wheels - sometimes accompanied by a burning smell and, if you're unlucky, flames - indicates a grabbing caliper (usually result of h'brake mech probs)

I would be inclined to check all four wheels whilst you're at it.

Mine was doing exactly that a couple of weeks back. Turned out the moving ratchet bit of the handbrake adjuster had snapped and was getting jammed in the handbrake mechanism. Not really ideal but it wasn't too hard to sort out... honest...
