Grim.Badger 15 Posted April 13, 2006 I noticed on the parts catalogue that there are three numbers for the rear suspension pins (non GTi etc, 1.6 GTi etc and 1.9GTi for phase 1 cars). Is there any real difference between the parts or can I use base model pins when I re-assemble my 1.9GTi rear beam? Cheers
Anthony 1,003 Posted April 13, 2006 Which part do you mean by "pins"? Trailing arm shafts? Stub axles?

Anthony 1,003 Posted April 13, 2006 Peugeot only actually sell one type now to the best of my knowledge (the GTi ones) but you can use most lower spec ones in a GTi beam just fine. You need to be careful on beams that didn't have an ARB fitted though, as some of these use a shaft that has a smaller ID than the "normal" shafts and as a result you can't fit the ARB endplate inside. Cheers, I'll probably get new ones but at least this means if I have to try and get a pair from a scrappy I'm not limited to GTi models, which are damn hard to find in scrapyards when I need parts from one
