SPGTi 2 Posted April 11, 2006 On the rad (passenger side) there is the temp sensor that screws into the rad. Out of this comes the wires that plug into the round barrel thing (sorry for the technical description) for the fan, then there are 3 more wires that come out into a brown plug. Does this plug into anything ? If so what ? cheers steve
Jonmurgie 2 Posted April 11, 2006 Nope, doesn't plug into anything and I have no idea what it's there for... although you can use a wire to connect 2 of the points and it will kick the fans in, kind of handy if you need to run the fans with the engine off for a bit or whatever

Didn't think it did, maybe can use it to control a 2nd fan. Cheers steve
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted April 11, 2006 Its there as a test circuit afaik. I use this plug for switching the fans on independently after a track session for a few minutes by bridging the centre & one of the side pins for either low or high speed fans. Graham. Daxed 7 Posted April 11, 2006 Have got a manual overide on my fans (not a 205) with the intention of cooling things down a bit following a few track laps. The contents of the rad cools very quickly, but withought water circulation doesn't seem to achieve a great deal. Anyone fitted an electrical recirc pump that runs with fans on and engine off?
