Idling, Have Searched But Not Found What I Was After

after fitting my injection bk to my gti, on start up it will got to 2-3000rpm then as i drive off it will come down to idle at abot 1-1.5rpm

 

but when i dab the throttle itll drop to about 500rpm and nearly stall then goes bk up to 1-1.5 rpm

 

any one know what it is, i urgently need an answer

Sounds like SAD or Airflow meter to me. I would start with the former

The high revs on cold is the SAD doing its job, quit complaining it is rare they work!

 

The high revs could be an air leak but it would have to be after the throttle plate and there aren't many pipes in this area. Then again it could just need the idle screw adjusting. What was it like prior to the work?
