Help To Identify Cables 205 Gti 87

Hello!

 

Still looking for some more help on my 205 2.0 Tubo projekt and now I need help on identify the cables from the car 205 GTI-87. From start it was an 1.6 105hp engine in it....

 

The big problem is that 95% of the cables has no numbers left on it. many of the cables has been cut of and thats why I need your help! please please! :blush:

 

Here are the list of the cables I need help with. A-J has I just named it to keep them apart.

 

205 GTI -87

 

 

color info nr extra info

 

White thick 2

turquoise thick splitts,

 

 

black thick extra plastic protection

brown 2st thick To + battery/terminal

 

white 46c

white 46b ignition relay

light blue half thick 76 fuel pump

red 32a ignition relay

 

blue blå from panel, splitts orange J(blue), 1c(orange)

 

 

Green A 30b oilpressuregauge?

Orange halvgrov B

white Grov C

Brown halvgrov D

Red tunn E

Yellow halvgrov F

Blue grov G

Blue tunn H backlight?

Blue tunn I backlight?

White halvgrov J

Plugs in a 205 ~ under-dash

 

9 Pin Brown connector

 

1. Reverse light (wire 52, brown)

2. Reverse light (wire 53, purple)

3. Coolant light (wire 47, yellow)

4. Coolant meter (wire 47a, red)

5. Alternator (wire 7a, brown thin wire)

6. Oil pressure meter (wire 30, lilac)

7. Oil temp meter (wire 30a, white)

8. Oil pressure light (wire 30b, grey)

9. Switched positive (wire 2, light blue)

 

6 Pin Brown connector

 

1. Coolant fluid level (wire 47b)

2. Fuel pump (wire 76)

3. Coolant fluid level (wire M47B)

4. RPM meter (wire 112)

5. K-Light (wire 74)

6. Starter motor (wire 46)

 

Most of the wires you need are there :blush: Some of the colours may be different though

those cables do I regonise for tuhe 1.9 122hp....I have an 1.6!!!....

I have a 1.6 also!!

 

as i said some of the colours maybe different,but they should have corresponding numbers and letters

printed on the wires themselves very close to were they enter the multiplugs

I+m still stuck!

 

AT my car I dont have those connetors. the cables goes directly from fusebord and out, sort of...suppose I will nedd to pull all wires into the car and list them out...

Are you sure?Well thats a bit of a sh*t is'nt it !! Ok so you need to find out the fuses and which ones do what,haynesmanual may contain this info ?? or someone on here might have fusebox details

 

Finding the Fuel pump wire is easier enough,just test between positive on the pump itself in relation to fuse's

 

Good luck with the rest,are there no numbers at all on the 205 cables?
