eddie_1.9 1 Posted April 7, 2006 I've got a S16 and GSF tell me it doens't exist! only the 306 GTi-6 does. EuroCarParts do some bits and have been ok but get it wrong quite a bit too. I've now found it easier to tell ECP that i have a Citroen ZX16v but then when they ask for a reg sometimes, i have to tell them the whole story that they're the same car etc etc, and they get more confused. Pug even has trouble with the S16 (and my cars reg), and are expensive. Other people only do parts as for it as special order and want full payment upfront - not something i'm happy doing when i know theres a high chace they're gonna get it wrong. Not only costing me money but delaying progress somewhat too. I can't find anywhere good for parts Is there any fellow S16/Mi16 owners out there that have found a reliable reasonble supplier? that also keeps parts in stock? please help end my misery! Miles 331 1 Cars Posted April 7, 2006 I get all mine from GSF in Southampton, The car's listed under the XU10J4 engine of around 1998 I think (Hmm computer systems or is that operators). GSF did start to provide me with parts then decided that they didn't do any parts for the S16 and its not on their system, only the GTi-6 (XU10J4RS?) is (2 seperate branch's tell me this) Using my cars Reg. ECP tell me my car is a 205 GTi and Pug tell me it deosn't exist. I think i'm getting there now tho. just by buying every engine part for every pug engine they ever made i think During the course (or is that curse?) of my S16 ownership so far (1 week) i have manged to accumulate some extra parts not for my engine - I have for sale a brand new set of GTi-6 (i presume) cam belt tensioners (tensioner & roller), a Gti-6 tensioner on its own, and a Xu9 head gasket if anyone needs them? What i need i think is to get hold of a 405 Mi16 or ZX16v Reg and Vin number and just pretend that thats the car i'm buying parts for. lol. Thanks for your offer to help with parts, i'm sure in the near future i will be taking you up on that Actaully, I need a AVAC inlet diphram if you know where to get one?
