trickywoo 0 Posted April 6, 2006 Instead of getting a new block and refitting the wires is there any reason not to just connect the wires together and seal them in some heatshrink sleaving? Thereby doing away with the block altogether. If not does anyone fancy a new block? They are listed at £0.97 plus £3 something for postage up to a £100. So if I'm getting one I may as well get a few. Banjo 1 Posted April 6, 2006 I got rid of mine, just used some thru crimps and heatshrink, I always take the sensor loom off when taking the engine out anyway. Ben
Mattsav 1 Posted April 7, 2006 There is a reason for having it. Its a Peugeot fail safe just incase they made a car that didn't go wrong!

pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted April 8, 2006 It makes changing an engine easier as you can leave the sensors etc plugged in while you remove the engine making fewer "Where does this wire go to?" questions when you refit an engine. Graham.
