I have this little black box near the washer fluid reservoir.

There are a small number of sockets on one side that i assume are for the main live etc.

just im not sure what order these plugs go into the socket??

also i have one too many plugs for this little black box and cant see where else it may go.

Could someone shed some light?

Cheers in advance

Mikey

Pretty sure that's just a +ve power distribution point for things like the fan etc.

They all should be idiot proof ie they should only fit in one hole, like the fit the shapes game you had as a kid!

There is also on simular plug which goes to the cooling fan.

Hope this helps

As above, its the positive supply box - takes power from the battery and then sends power off to the fan, the ECU and the main fuse board under the dash.

Plugs only fit one way as above, and if you have one diconnected it could be for the fan.

no thas defintly not the ignition amp.

Make sure you plug the fan wire onto the fan NOT onto the bottom of the power distro box, if you do, it catches fire. Trust me on this one.

Yes I found that out too. Not fire but sparkes and smoke!!!

The std fan circuit is quite complex having wires running from the pos sup box to the resistor, then to the fan, and to earth - a right nightmare :D

Hence why I removed mine and wired it into the ECu - shame it doesnt work yet though ;)
