Ryan 99 Posted April 1, 2006 I swapped my knackered manual window mechanisms for some nice electric ones. The drivers side door already had the loom in place and I just plugged everything in and it works fine. The passenger door doesn't contain the loom. I have located the plug on the fusebox with the power feed, but both wires connected to it disappear up into the dash somewhere. I don't fancy pulling the whole dash out to find the other end. Where should I be looking specifically? Also where are the wires routed that lead to the driver's side switch for the passenger window?
jonD6B 0 Posted April 1, 2006 As far as I can remember the passenger side plugs for the central locking motor link to a plug by the fuse board in the glove box. The drivers side wires for the window and locking motors join the main bundle under the steering column and probably also feed back to the board. If you're missing the N/S motor wires you should be able to easily unplug them from a scrapped 205 and feed them through the rubber grommets through into the door from the push in plug at the board.
