If your using a 16v loom the injector and ecu relay are most probably sat on the drivers side inner wing. These are as far as i'm aware just standard run of the mill relays so easily replaced.

The fuel pump shouldn't be running permantly on full ignition with the engine not running if it has been wired up properly.

OK ive been out this morning there are 2 relays in the inner wing one black and one red, the red one is really corroded on one of the connectors so Im gonna clean it up or try and get a replacement...does anyone know what these relays are for??

There are 2 green ones at the back of the engine bay which Ive pulled out and seem very clean.....beside all this the fuel pump is constantly on, how can I fix this?? is there things I can check??

Thanks guys

OK update, Ive cleaned up the red relay and put it back, thought Id check if im gettting a spark so stuck a spark plug in the coil lead and got a spark, so then went through each lead and removed the plugs...only one that got a spark was no2 and they was all wet apart from no1 which was dry???

Also Ive never done this before but is it normal for the port with no plug to kick out a loud puff every so often when im turning the car over??

Thanks

For the purposes of the search and people having the same issue, I removed the dizzy cap and it was a total mess, fitted a new rotor arm and dizzy this morning and shes up and running again......just in time for my Rolling road session at 14:30...

Yes its normal for empty plug holes to puff stuff out on cranking.

The Mi's eat dizzys for fun, mine went on my old engine and I assumed it was the actual engine which led me removing the whole engine and swapping it (it needed it anyway)

Hence why I dont have a dizzy now :D
