I need to wire in my cars horn, its an aftermarket jobbie, i've got the original pug wiring but what colour is the connector? how many wires and what are the wire numbers?

I presume its a switched live and permanent earth?

Cheers

Sam

According to the wiring diagram it's wires 24 and M24 (Earth)

Where might i get hold of the wiring diagrams, indeed any exploded technical diagrams of the working parts of a PUG 205GTi?

;)

have seen a couple of the exploded diagrams kicking about in peoples posts, mshowing how various systems are connected... would appreciate a book title or summat?

Best Regards

I don't know if they're all the same, but mine goes through one of the (OE) relays near the expansion tank.

The feed comes from one of the relays on the bulk head as said and the earth is taken from the main earthing plug by the rad. iirc.

IIRC mine are earthed directly to the chassis (bumper mounting bracket) that the horn is fitted to (1.6 GTi) & there is just a switched feed running to one that bridges to the other.

The 1.9 Air Horn set up is the same, but without the extra bridging wire.
