mikeyd 13 Posted March 29, 2006 phase 2 1600 had a problem when starting from hot. after checking the usual bits found the coil to be tracking on manifold so fitted another now it wont start hot or cold on its own!!! what does happen is you can try on the key for ages but it will start instantly with battery starter charger connected or bump start in 6feet!!!!!! have tried 2 different batteries but sod all effect and it seems to turn over fine 205 s dont you just luv em???
