Ryan 99 Posted March 25, 2006 Is the BX 16v loom for the dash gauges a straight swap for the 205 loom? Does it plug straight in?

Ryan 99 Posted March 25, 2006 Damn. My current wiring is a mess. It's had so many alarms fitted and removed by previous owners that you can't tell where anything goes anymore.
Zed 0 Posted March 26, 2006 (edited) I was going to post about this also... My 205 is currently in a garage having the mi transplant after giving them my 205 and a bx16v....the engine is mounted and running and im told they have used the bx sensor loom as apost to the 205 one. After asking if Id have any problems with dash guages they didnt seem to think there would be any problem getting them all working right... They are very telented guys but is it possible they are overlooking certain things that will only be evident when its on the road all back together?...Id rather not wait another 2weeks for them to have to strip it back down and rewire it. d-9 0 Posted March 26, 2006 Theres no reason you cant splice the BX sensor loom into the 205 loom thou its not the way I do it myself (mostly because its extra wiring hassle).
