The 406 non-abs one I got with 4 outlets have partnumber 4601G1 and is made of aluminium.

It fits fint on the 205 brake servo, haven't tried to put the fluid reservoar on yet.

As far as I know (from extensive reading on here mind) it is the cast alloy one you require not the aluminium one!

Ask for a pre '98 non-ABS 406 M/C in cast iron and you should get the correct one.

Why not the aluminium one?

From the parts CD:

4601 G1

MASTER CYLINDER DIAM 23,8

BOSCH. - W/O ABS BRAKES

END 02/01/1999 SEE A

That's the Phase 1 406 non-abs M/C

The 4601J7 is from Phase 2 406 non-abs. Might it be that the Phase 2 have a different bolt-pattern on the brake servo?

My only reason for chosing it was that after reading numerous posts on here that the later versions would not bolt on directly (i.e. a straight swap). Obviously like anything you read on the net it could well be wrong!
