Dave87 0 Posted March 19, 2006 hi had a lil search but i havn't found much help i'm buiding the 106 16v lump to put into my 205 and i'm trying to get info on the ecu i hear that there is a lil problem with getting them unlocked can anyone shine a light on how this can be done or would it be better cheaper to get an aftermaket ecu if so what make would you recomend cheers dave. danpug 1 Posted March 19, 2006 Have a search on the pgac, there was lots of info on there. Whether to get an aftermarket ecu ro not depends on your plans for the engine, if you intend on getting throttle bodies later then you may as well spend the extra cash now and get an aftermarket ecu. TMS used to unlock single plug type ecus, i'm sure they still do. It was a lot cheaper than lynx charged as well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
