miamistu 1 Posted March 18, 2006 Fitted the alternator onto the mi16 engine but for some reason it doesn't look like the pulley lines up properly (see below). Is this normal or am I missing something? The alternator was taken off my old 8v. Also, my alternator braket looks like this: Which clearly doesn't fit. Does anyone have a spare mi16 one? dee205 3 Posted March 18, 2006 Just checked mine. The sides of the two pulleys don't line up but the grooves do and I'm using a 3 groove belt for from the 205.
