Hi,

Can anyone give me some advice?

The stud with the screwdriver head in the end of one of my torsion bars has seized. The locking nut is off and the stud has been soacked with wd40 but won't budge. Will heating it help at all?

Cheers

Just drill it out and replace with new bolt, they are only pence.

Remove the trailing arm with the torsion bar still attached if you can & work on it off the car.

A pair of vice grips should get it moving then.

Graham.
