C20XE is a naturally aspirated 2.0 16v engine, so i guess not :blush:.

I got some answers from the guy who sold it.... the only different thing on c20xe is that it was missing a cavity on the piston.

they are different dont know in what way but when converting the c20xe to turbo people swap the pistons for the let ones.

It still looks like sh*t on the side that counts! Get some Kenco degreaser (highly caustic) into it.

 

what's the hole for anyway?

Yeah I was thinking how to get it clean. But it looks worse than it is.

 

With the hole you can watch if the crank is still in :ph34r: .hehe.. It will be used to drain the oil from the turbo.

It's a catchtank. It catches the oilvapours coming from the engine.

Nothing has happend to the turbo engine.

 

Right now im trying to mount Mega Squirt V3 on the old engine to understand the system.

 

And im also fitting a roll cage.

 

But things are runnig slow now in the summer.

 

 

But I will update when things start to happen.
