I sent them a diagram of the only pad listed on www.brakepart.co.uk and apparently it is the FCP565 that I need so I have ordered them. Can anyone confirm?

Not sure if this will help but, the part number for the DS 2500 is FCP1063H. These fit the more common Lucas calipers.

Out of interest, how much are the DS3000?

They cost me £103.38 for the front pads (GTi-6) and £62.02 for the rear (std 1.9 rear calipers)

No idea if thats a good price or not but they quoted me £87.69 for DS2500 front (again GTi-6 fitment) and £52.36 for the rears (std 1.9 rear calipers)

They had better be bloody good for that much money!!

Phil,

The DS3000s will be awesome mate  I have used them on my 205 at the Bedford track day a few weekends ago and they were superb!

One thing to be wary of though is the brake dust, i spent 3 hours cleaning just the front 2 wheels the other day as the dust is foookin aweful and needs wheel cleaner to remove (ie not water).

cheers

Thats because the dust is bits of your disc - ie METAL rather than burnt pad material. The DS3ks are excellent pads bit I recon that a set of pads will see out at least 3 sets of discs :)
